Overview

ToolBox is committed to protecting your privacy. Our tools are designed to run entirely in your browser — we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any server.

Data Collection

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone)
• Files you upload or content you create
• Passwords or sensitive data you generate
• Browsing history or usage patterns

Local Storage

Some tools (like the Notepad) use your browser's localStorage to save your work. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

Certain tools optionally connect to external APIs:

• AI Writer — sends requests to OpenAI using your own API key
• Translator — uses MyMemory translation API (text is sent for translation)
• URL Shortener — uses is.gd API (URL is sent for shortening)

These connections are clearly disclosed in each tool. All other tools work 100% offline in your browser.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is tracked. You can opt out using browser extensions or ad blockers.

Cookies

ToolBox uses a single localStorage entry to remember your theme preference (dark/light). We do not use tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

ToolBox is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
